If you are booking your FIRST APPOINTMENT EVER, please book an ASSESSMENT.

If you have NOT been in for 3 MONTHS OR LONGER, please book an ASSESSMENT.

We are experiencing larger than usual demand for physiotherapy services. If you are booking a physiotherapy assessment, we strongly recommend you book follow-up treatments once per week for two weeks after your initial assessment. This will prevent delays in treatment. Thank you.

Hi, my name is Brad Pataky and I am an Osteopath and Registered Massage Therapist. I graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1999. After practicing in Toronto in a multidisciplinary clinic focusing on rehabilitation, I decided to further my education in osteopathy. I graduated from the Osteopathic College of Ontario in 2006.

Osteopathic manipulation tries to identify primary strain patterns to reduce systematic dysfunction. A thorough subjective assessment, case history and barriers to recovery are the primary tools I use in assessing clients concerns and aiding recovery. Primary strains are considered as the functional-adaptive mechanisms that determine the body’s ability and or inability to restore function. The bodies systems that affect these concerns are variable and include musculoskeletal, neurological and visceral systems. I use both my training from massage therapy and osteopathy to help with a wide variety of conditions from colic in infants, sport injury, chronic pain to elderly mobility issues.

I have lived and practiced in Peterborough since 2004. When I am not at work, I enjoy golfing, mountain biking, yoga and snowboarding.

Hi, my name is Rose Harrison. I grew up in Peterborough and have been privileged to practice in my hometown since completing my physiotherapy degree in 2010.

I graduated from Brock University with a Kinesiology degree and then pursued a Masters of Science research degree in exercise physiology. I earned a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto. I have completed my certification in Acupuncture and Dry Needling from APTEI, Bonefit from Osteoporosis Canada and I am currently working through the orthopaedic manual therapy levels.

My treatment approach places a strong emphasis on exercise prescription in combination with manual therapy, acupuncture and shockwave.

Outside of my practice I enjoy spending time outdoors with my daughter, cycling, running and playing volleyball.

I look forward to working with you in optimizing your health!

My name is Kathy Eggenberger and I have had the good fortune of practicing physiotherapy since graduating from the University of British Columbia in 1999. I began my career working at several sports medicine clinics in Vancouver, Victoria and London. I have been practicing in Peterborough since 2003. I opened Optimal Health Physiotherapy in 2015. My current treatment approach is comprehensive and involves a thorough assessment, goal setting, ‘hands on’ treatment and a targeted exercise program. In addition to traditional physiotherapy modalities, I use manual therapy to restore normal joint mobility; acupuncture to control pain; dry needling to decrease muscle tension and shockwave to stimulate healing in chronic soft tissue injuries. I strongly believe in educating my clients about their conditions and providing them with the tools to manage the condition independently. I am a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists, have my BoneFit training from Osteoporosis Canada and have a certification in Acupuncture and Dry Needling from APTEI. When I am not working as a physiotherapist, I spend time coaching the local youth triathlon team, the Peterborough Pirates, and organizing our local cycling club’s Cyclocross Series. I have competed with the Canadian National Rowing Team, at the Canadian National Cyclocross Championships and at several Age Group World Triathlon Championships. In my spare time I can be found playing outside with my husband and two children: skiing, cycling, wake surfing, dirt biking and running. I look forward to meeting you and helping you along your journey to optimal health!
